The second in what now looks to be a regular series of free EP releases from Scrimshire. Songs and experiments that slipped between the cracks during the making of albums, edits and remixes.
Revisited, loved and brought to the world exclsuively here in Forgotten Songs Volume Two.
The opening track includes an unmistakeable appearance from Matthew Halsall on a piece of music that was originally written and produced in 2009, immediately after the release of Scrimshire’s debut Along Came The Devil One Night.
The collection also includes tracks from the process of making 3rd album Bight and some brand new material. All of these songs appearing publically for the very first time.
Beautiful, epic in places and in others deeply introverted, you are sure to recognise here Scrimshire’s very own blend of jazz, soul and electronica.

“In my humble opinion this volume serves the strongest toons by Scrimshire so far. Modified Man is most solid… this has really potential, Fuselage could be a new remix of a soundtrack from the 90s. Saltwater reminds me of my old days with SonarKollektiv and Micatone – but updated, and I always liked Matthew Halsall.” Don Rogall (Dj / Berlin / We Are.. Radio / Bassy Club resident, Germany)
“He’s a clever man isn’t he. Lovely release.” Aly Gillani / DJ Gilla (First Word Records, UK)
