As Wah Wah 45s celebrate 20 years of releasing music, they’re also very happy to announce the return of soulful outfit ​Hardkandy after an 11 year hiatus.

The brand new single “Brief Encounters” features the beautifully delivered vocals of newcomer ​Scarlett Fae​.

Since the release of “Second To None” back in 2008, Hardkandy, AKA ​Tim Bidwell​, has been busy as a producer working with the likes of Lucy Rose, Matthew And The Atlas, Jack Watts, Kate Walsh and many more at his Brighton based ​Clockwork Owl Studio​. However, inspired by the continued popularity of this now classic album, especially on streaming platforms, Tim thought it was time to dust off his Hardkandy shoes and gather a squad of musicians to work on some new material.

Scarlett Fae is an uber talented young singer who Tim met through a vocal session. They struck up a fruitful working relationship and the result is this very catchy, and of course very soulful piece of music, co-written by Chris Boot and Ben Daniel.
